Trust me when I say, I KNOW how you feel when you’re in a super toxic relationship and you want to get out but you just don’t think you can do it. Sometimes we really just don’t see how we’re gonna make it through to tomorrow.
I’ve had those days/months/years, but I promise you, if you just take the leap now, the net WILL appear. You’re stronger than you think you are. And you CAN survive life, even through all the changes and shifts.
In today’s episode, I’ll share exactly what you need to do to make your future self proud that you were strong enough to let things go.
Let me tell you something right now: You ARE strong enough to keep moving forward in life without that person or thing that’s weighing you down! I promise you are.
When you’re having a hard time deciding if you need to let a certain someone or something go, there are a couple of things you should keep in mind so you can actually make the best decision for you.
Here’s a list of the things we talk about in today’s episode that you should do to keep pushing forward & stay strong, even if you have to let go of someone or something.:
#1: Take note of what’s serving you & what’s not.
- Ask yourself if you’re happy with the relationship or situation you’re in? Is your bf happy?
- Is he supportive of you? And are you supportive of him?
- Are you all of a sudden feeling uninterested? Or noticing that he’s uninterested?
- Are there any benefits to you two staying together?
#2: Let go of the things and the people who aren’t serving you anymore!
Listen, there are many people in life that KNOW something isn’t serving them. But they continue to stay because it’s comfortable. And do you know where that gets them??? It gets them a mediocre life where they’re continuously unhappy. So save yourself the suckiness and do yourself a favor, Let Go! Because life is too short to settle. Sometimes we just have to get out there & do something differently. Stop carrying around dead weight with you through life (dead weight= people & things that don’t serve you).
#3: STAY STRONG & BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
Change your mindset from believing you can’t get through it to believing you CAN get through it.
Negative thoughts attract negative things into your life. So switch to positive vibes & thoughts! Then you can attract allll the positive things into your life. You’ve gotta have absolute faith that EVERY dream you have is on its way to you right now! Cuz girl, IT IS!
#4: Remember YOU are in control!
So stay true to the things that genuinely make YOU happy, not what other people think should make you happy. Be brave. Make the decisions in your life that you KNOW your future self will be proud of.
